The Collingwood Clinic is secure

On the 21 September 2026, the state government announced that the Collingwood clinic site will be redeveloped with the community health centre on the ground floor and social housing above. The service will relocate temporarily to Trenerry Crescent Collingwood during construction.

There was a lot of interest in the announcement made by the Victorian Minister for Housing Nick Staikos, flanked here by federal MP for Melbourne Sarah Witty and Yarra Councillor and ALP hopeful in the state seat of Richmond Sarah McKenzie. Other pics in the gallery feature SOCH campaigners Natalie Savin, Brian Steggol and Geoff Barbour, as well as Kensington clinic campaigner Bill Deveney.
